India is the seventh largest country by geographical area in the world ,which covers an area of 3,165,596 km ,making it known as the Indian subcontinent ,it is divided into three distinct geographic regions : the Himalayan region in the north, the Gangetic Plain, and the plateau region in the south ,India is the second largest country in the world in terms of population after China ,Religion is a central factor in the lives of Indian people,(82% Hinduism and 12% Muslim ) and Hindi is the official language .
